About Rene Rancourt:
Rene Rancourt has sung The National Anthem to open Bruins hockey games for 35 years
and is known for pumping his fist as he closes out the song so that fans and players get
pumped up to drop the puck and start each game. Mr. Rancourt not only brings his consistent
high energy to The TD Garden crowd, but adds some class to the patriotic spirit of sports by
wearing a tuxedo each game.  In addition to singing the National Anthem at hockey games
and other sporting events, each year dozens of New England families contract him to appear
and sing at weddings and other events.
